Sarah and Philip ~ Engagement

Welcome to a very fun and quirky photo session! Sarah and Philip met in their senior year of high school. They became friends later in the year when they realized they were heading to the same college. They have very unique interests, including juggling, comic books, Dr. Who, and making balloon animals. As a surprise for Sarah, Philip orchestrated a very special proposal at their favorite comic book store, with some of their family and friends present to witness it. Their song, Smile, was playing on the stereo, and her engagement ring was presented to her in a TARDIS box.

They are getting married on March 14, 2015, on the high school campus where they met. That date was chosen purposefully because it is Pi Day. You know, the number that goes on forever, 3.14159……

I love what Sarah wrote on my questionnaire when I asked her if she had any tips or advice for other couples as they prepare for their engagement photo session. She said, “Be yourselves. Have fun! Don’t worry about other couples’ sessions. It’s okay to be different.” And that is exactly what this session portrays: their unique selves.

What a fun day we had, and what a fun future they are creating together!
